Rochester Public School Foundation (RPSF) is a unique pathway for Rochester citizens, teachers and businesses to work in collaboration to enhance public education for its most valuable resource -- our children. RPSF strives to make a significant and lasting educational impact for all of Rochester’s public school students.

RPSF's influence occurs mainly through financial support of innovative enhancements to K-12 curriculum that are impeded by the limited resources of ISD #535 educators. To strengthen the partnership between local businesses, our community and public schools, RPSF raises awareness of successful enhancements that really inspire students and encourage learning, especially of previous pilot projects that transition to regular curriculum.

RPSF is an independent, not-for-profit organization that has awarded over 250 grants, totaling more than $500,000, to provide greater than 100,000 students unique learning opportunities.

The strategic objective of current board members is to increase investments 3 to 5-fold to over $1M for a greater district-wide impact, especially for students with fewer resources. Envisioned future goals are to increase our mission's impact each year with more grant awards, while introducing student college scholarships, a higher grant budget limit and new support for one collaborative education project district-wide.

The Rochester Public School Foundation is a nonprofit community foundation that connects the community and our schools to advance and inspire educational opportunities for all students.
