The Rochester Public School Foundation will be accepting applications for its Spring Grant Cycle.
The deadline is April 10th, 2009. The maximum grant award is $1500.00. All grants will be submitted electronically. If you are a district teacher, staff member or volunteer and you have an idea for an innovative, creative project, we invite you to submit your proposal.

The most successful proposals will be for projects that are new and/or unique, enhance the learning experience, strengthen the school/home/community partnership and impact the greatest number of students. Proposals need to be goal-oriented, measurable and consistent with the District's learner outcomes. Volunteers, teachers, parents and community representatives makeup the RPSF Grant Committee; this committee is responsible for evaluating proposals on these criteria.

While the majority of grants are made out of the Foundation¹s General Fund, there are also three funds to sponsor specific subject areas. They are:
1. The Mike Ladin Memorial Fund ­ for projects benefiting socio-economically disadvantaged students 2. The Jacqueline B. Goodyear Endowment Fund - for fine arts projects 3. The Joel Luhman Fund ­ for creative writing and outdoor photography
