Rochester Public Schools and Rochester Public School Foundation Host National Night Out EventRochester Public Schools and the Rochester Public School Foundation welcome community members to a National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 7, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Riverside Central Elementary School. National Night Out is observed by more than 15,000 communities nationwide each year. National Night Out is an opportunity for communities nationwide to promote partnerships, crime prevention and neighborhood camaraderie. It represents the kind of spirit, energy and determination that is helping to make neighborhoods safer places throughout the year. It is a night to celebrate partnerships, neighbors and Rochester Public Schools.This is the second year Rochester Public Schools and the Rochester Public School Foundation are co-sponsoring this neighborhood event. The entire Rochester community and all staff are welcome to talk with the superintendent and school board members, meet neighbors and other community members, listen to music provided by “Juke Box Heroes,” and enjoy a refreshing treat.
